The story of Ernestos donation… Natalie Hörner and Alex Schuller discuss the idea of using donated money efficiently, using the example of the benches sent by Ernesto. The necessary things are produced in the region and the materials are also bought there, which helps the helpers and saves on transport and is usually cheaper.
The Story Of Yana from Ukraine… Alex reports on his encounter with Yana, a 32-year-old Ukrainian woman who had already completed 36 hours of travelling and still had 11 hours to go. Alex met her at the tent in Zahony and saw what a difference a cup of coffee can make.
Alex Schuller has first impressions of the border station in Zahony. Already with the first trains, more than 300 people arrived and this continued until late in the evening. Andrea Ricci, an Italian helper who has been helping to organise in Zahony since 4 March, gives us an overview of the current problems.
